It's just perfectNov 27, 2007
By Cesar Wong I brought this item and it's amazing. It charges almost all my devices. Otherwise in radioshack you can buy other type of plugins, it's 100% compatible. Regarding the battery, I love this solar charger because it uses AAA Ni-MH or Ni-CD. Good product a great price. I use it a lot in my business trips.

Obsolete and MisrepresentedSep 23, 2010
By Marty Charon This device comes with only 4 connectors for obsolete phones and the company has gone out of business, so you cannot order more. The output is a mini dc plug instead of a usb, so you cannot simply use your micro usb transfer cable. I did not realize this until I bought a pack of 4 rechargeable AAA batteries (it requires 3) and charged them up (both prerequisites to charging your phone). Even the box it came in says you can also charge digital cameras, which is another reason I purchased it. However, most of my digital cameras are 7.2 volts, wherein the output dc port says the maximum output is 5 volts. So, I am not sure how that was supposed to work. I essentially own a solar-powered, AAA battery charger that charges 3 batteries at a time. Wahoo!
Update: I may have found a connector kit that will allow the Power Bar to connect to phones and other devices using mini and micro usb. It's a shame that Amazon does not sell this connector, since it would make a nifty accessory. However, the vendor below seems to have the lowest price and the widest variety of payment methods. After I recieve this item and confirm it's compatible, I will revise my low rating of the Power Bar.
