Extremely PleasedJun 05, 2009
By T. C. Lawton These lights are performing way better than I expected- both in brightness and duration. With a good day's sun, and an 8pm dusk when they automatically come on, they're still running at dawn! The description mentions requiring a battery, not included; however this is wrong- it is included, and is the 600mAh accumulator battery that stores the charge. And being a standard NiCd pencell, would easily be replaced once its charge cycles were exhausted.

Camping useMar 21, 2009
By David B. Strahan I wanted these for camping i should have bought 4 sets! these are amazing! where we camp at its extremely dark and these light will light up the table quite fine. i was surprised i thought i would have had to wait 6 hours to get a good charge from these, but after three hours they works bright as could be also they come with a rechargeable battery but if you have no sun you can put a regular AA battery in there it works the same

Not much better than their String CounterpartsDec 07, 2009
By Rawkmom I these lights last no longer than 3 hours. They have been up for 4 days and I am not getting better results as the batteries have days to charge in the sun. The do however last a whooping 1 hours longer than their string version cousin who crap out on me after only 2 hours. I am completely disappointed with them and recommended anyone consider buying these to save your $20... These will most likely just end up in a landfill. Very Sad

Not impressedDec 08, 2009
By gretch1 I bought three sets. One never worked at all. They don't stay on more than a couple hours after dark. What I disliked the most was that the lights look blue, not white. I'll stick with my standard electric net lights...they look MUCH better.

"crumpy"
These solar Christmas lights worked better than we expected. In northern California they did get some sunlight and whether the lights lit up at all, and for how long definitely depended on how much sun we had had that day. We will probably get more next year to make the decorations more extensive.
